Abiola Lepe A triple threat in the traditional sense of the word, Abiola has been singing, dancing, and acting across five continents. She is a dynamic and exciting entertainer that approaches creative exploration from a multicultural perspective.

Her artistic journey has taken her from The Classical Theatre of Harlem in New York, to sharing the stage with Grammy winner Shania Twain. From shaking the boards with Latin Grammy nominee Viviana Pintada, to crooning with jazz great Mark Whitfield.  She has performed and recorded classical scores for film and commercial use including Mozart’s Requiem and the world premiere of Sussmayr’s Requiem. Spending an adventurous five years of artistic exploration in Asia further broadened Abiola’s musical perspective and depth of her skills. From performing traditional Korean folk songs, to African and Latin dances, Abiola used art to share her global experiences and connect with her Asian audiences. In Nigeria, Abiola has had the pleasure of collaborating with Bolanle Austen-Peters, TeeY Mix, Sound Sultan, Moelogo, and Mystro, amongst many others. Abiola has been featured on well-known television programs such as Visa on Arrival and starred in films addressing socially impactful subjects.  She has gone on international tours with BAP Productions and starred in the original production of Prideland at Èkó Hotel. Abiola closed the show for the critically acclaimed Jungle Story 2, gracing the Terra Kulture stage with the likes of Seyi Shay, Cobhams Asuquo, Femi and Seun Kuti, Johnny Drille, Vector, and a host of others. Abiola is honoured to be featured on Oshumare, a unique track on the late Sound Sultan’s final album, 8th Wondah. On her critically acclaimed debut album, Abiola Time, Abiola teases our palates with infectious global rhythms while dazzling the ear with delightful harmonies. She was thrilled to work with Grammy winner, Dave Darlington of Bass Hit Recording to complete the mixing and mastering of this eclectically satisfying album. Abiola’s voice has been described as cinematic. Every performance she gives is rich and colourful in texture, culturally complex, and deliciously lush. Abiola is a truly decadent performing arts experience.
